I transferred from a public high school that housed several hundred kids to a closer knit group of students. I have also learned the true meaning of family. Capital Prep has taught me discipline & perseverance. I understand the importance of accomplishing a goal by enduring the hard work it takes to get there. At times, it seems the work is too tedious and you're too overloaded but having the discipline to stay focused will ultimately get you through. Each bad or negative outcome strengthens you in a sense because it helps you view the situation from a different perspective. I am told that college & life in general will be difficult, so therefore a stable mindset and strong will are the best tools to help face these issues.
