PTO Year in Review 2013-2014

What an exciting school year for the
Capital Preparatory Magnet School Parent Teacher Organization!!!

We raised over $6,600!

Thank you to the families, students and staff for all of their continued support throughout this school year. You are the reason we are so successful.
We have been able to host many great activities and provide financial support for many projects this year.

June Summer Break Camp Options

Summer is an important time for families and keeping youth engaged. Parents, other family members, and summer program staff all can play an important roles in ensuring students continue to learn during the summer. The PTO has found some options for youth camps over portions of the June summer break. Begin by exploring with your children. Choose activities based on their interests and academic needs. Contact the programs directly. If one is full, call another. Some programs have fees. Many offer "camperships" which are similar to scholarships. Your child may qualify for a campership or reduced fee based on family income. Some programs provide transportation. Browse online, call, and register early.
